Spy Monkey Creations Launching Indie ‘Weaponeers of Monkaa’ Action Figure Line

It seems that Spy Monkey Creations is building on its action figure weaponer status big time starting October 1 with the release of a brand new toy line, The Weaponeers of Monkaa. Blending aspects of classic '80s toy lines like Masters of the Universe, Battle Beasts, Transformers and others, the indie line consists of interdimensional heroes and villains battling over the fate of elemental (translucent plastic) warriors known as Gohlem. Each $12 figure stands about 4" tall and is constructed from 25-28 fully-swappable PVC parts, meaning collectors can customize robot-looking cats named things like "Palidar" and "Brutok" completely to their specifications. Adding to customization options are a variety of weapon packs and variant head packs, both available for $5 a pop. Those already collecting Onell Design's Glyos figures or the similarly compatible Callgrim, The Outer Space Men and Banimon will also be pleased to know that The Weaponeers of Monkaa figures are outfitted with the same peg articulation system, allowing for even more mixing and matching across toy lines.
