Wolverine & The X-Men’s ‘Hellfire Saga’ Introduces The Super-Villain Hogwarts [Review]
Writer Jason Aaron has carved out his own super-opera on Marvel's Wolverine And The X-Men title, somehow enduring the vicissitudes of crossovers and events and even a line-wide relaunch (that paradoxically left the nineteen-month-old, thirty-one-issue book one of Marvel's longest running titles, and Aaron himself with the distinction of having produced one of the publisher's longest uninterrupted runs by a single writer). And he seems to be having a lot of fun.

‘Hellblazer’ #300 Marks The End Of An Era For Constantine And Vertigo
With the 300th and final issue of Vertigo's Hellblazer, out this week, several tumblers shift and lock into place. John Constantine moves to the New 52 on a full-time basis, with a new title beginning in March; the reset button is pushed on his continuity, and the most writer-driven character of the last thirty years is yanked from the comfort and promise of a Mature Readers label and forced to gr

The recent cancellation of Superman Family Adventures left a lot of readers -- especially those around here -- gnashing their teeth over another blow against fun, all-ages adventure comics. If you're on the verge of losing hope for this fallen world of ours, though, there's good news too: Art Baltazar and Franco, the creators behind Tiny Titans, Superman Family Adventures and more, are currently

I love Wolverine and the X-Men. I've said before that it's as close to my idea of what the X-Men should be as anything else I've ever seen, but over the past three months, it's gotten even closer. We didn't realize when we set out to list our favorite comic books of 2012 that it had been such a fun year to be a fan of the medium that we all love so much. The last twelve months offered readers a wide variety of work ranging from the most crowd-pleasing superhero epics to the most idiosyncratic of indies; the return of much missed mangaka and the emergence of exciting new talent; a new crowd-

Parting Shot: Grant Morrison Responds To Alan Moore’s Ongoing Criticism
Alan Moore has lost a few friends, and fans, in recent years. The legendary writer has spent quite some time voicing his vehement opposition to the practices of DC, Marvel, and mainstream comics publishing in general, but what has bothered many is Moore's dismissive tone toward current creators, as he often illustrates that he has little to no regard for the work of any writers who have come up in
