This week's episode, "Outlaw Country," finds the team returning to the Old West to stop a rascally varmint from taking over the entire region with some science-fiction rocks. Cherie Nowlan directed the episode. The script is by Matthew Maala and Chris Fedak.

This week's episode, "Compromised," finds our team going to the neon and shoulder-pad styled 1980s to prevent a disaster from hitting nuclear weapons negotiations at the White House. David Geddes directed the episode, which was written by Keto Shimizu and Grainne Godfree.

On this week's "Abominiations," things get out of hand in Civil War-era Mississippi when a virus hits a whole bunch of Confederate soldiers, turning them into zombies. Also, people learn important lessons about the racial history of America. It's a lot. Michael Allowitz directed the episode, which was written by Marc Guggenheim and Ray Utarnachitt.

On this week's "Shogun," the team fights... well, a shogun. Also, Stein and Jax get a secret, mysterious message from the future. Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode, which was written by Phil Klemmer and Grainne Godfree.

The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow follows a time-traveling team of misfits that includes historian Nate Heywood, Arrow’s Atom and White Canary, both halves of Firestorm and Flash rogue Heat Wave. Recappers Matt Wilson and Dylan Todd are on hand to deliver our Legends of Tomorrow post-show analysis, Stuff of Legends. In this week's, “Justice Society of America,” the Legends team up with a classic grouping of superheroes. If only there was some way to remember their name. Michael Grossman directed the episode, which was written by Chris Fedak and Sarah Nicole Jones.

If Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow weren’t enough to get your DC on, in comes one more DC premiere. Fresh off CW Seed, the animated Vixen is back for Season 2, with the premiere installment available to stream right now.

CW Seed’s Vixen made a curious gaffe last month, blithely confirming a Season 2 premiere over Twitter, only to walk back the announcement hours later. We may now know why, as Warner Bros. now confirms a separate (albeit close) date for the Season 2 premiere in October, along with new details.

Earlier today, we broke the news that The Ray will be joining Steve Orlando and Ivan Reis' upcoming Justice League of America ongoing with a one-shot by Orlando and Stephen Byrne but Ray Terrill won't be alone. Throughout today at various outlets and on DC's own website, the publisher has announced the new Justice League of America line-up featuring some fan-favorite characters getting their moment in the sun!

The CW already has in mind a fall 2016 schedule with four DC dramas during the week, so why not make it five? CW Seed’s animated Vixen re-enters the fray with a Season 2 premiere the very same week as Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow.
