If one look at Zack Soto's superpowered beings makes you think that he would have been a good fit for a Kramers Egot volume, that's probably because he's already been in one. He also received an Ignatz Award in 2003 for his own anthology Studygroup12 #3. Soto's got a really unique look; many of his creations look like they were forged out of a combination of Futurama and Jordan Crane art.

He mixes it up, though, and if you look through his portfolio and blog on ZackSoto.com, you'll find a kaleidoscope of approaches to fantasy, sci-fi and more abstract conceptual work that plays off of various design elements and shapes.

Sometimes Soto keeps his figures solid, and sometimes he ventures out into slightly more psychedelic territory giving them fun melty textures. A few of our favorite examples have been posted below, so have a look for yourself and let us know what you think.
