Good Smile Company and Max Factory have announced their plans to release Figma versions of Attack on Titan's most famous giant-slayers Eren, Mikasa and Levi, but what of their more sheepish friend Armin? It seems he too will join the action figure fray later this year, although fans will have to either preorder in Japan at the Winter Wonder Festival figures event on February 9 or through GSC's online shop.

If the ¥4,500 ($43 USD) toy version of Armin looks a little more buff than AoT creator Hajime Isayama draws him, it's most likely because the figure's fresh head sculpt (and three optional facial expression plates) are sitting atop the same male body sculpt as the more rough and tumble Eren and Levi. But who can tell under that removable Survey Corps cloak, 3D maneuver gear and blades?

No word on exactly when Armin will arrive after being preordered, but considering Levi won't be available until August or so, fans can probably expect to wait until the fall to see the figure's righteous bowl cut in their homes.
