With Chris Evans starring as Steve Rogers in "The First Avengers: Captain America," it's going to take a while before we can say for sure whether or not he fits the part. But thanks to some Photoshopping and words of encouragement from one of Evans' future co-stars, perhaps we can start strengthening our opinions a little bit early.

Up first is a series of Photoshopped images posted by Film School Rejects. The Photoshops thrust Evans into the role of Captain America by taking classic images of the character and superimposing Evans' face under the cowl. They obviously are not the most accurate representation and sure, they have a strong computer generated feel, but they're still the best teasers I've seen since the casting decision was made.

Next, Evans is getting some praise from "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth, his future collaborator on "The Avengers" in 2012. Splash Page spoke with Hemsworth recently and asked for his opinions of Evans, which were unsurprisingly glowing."He's great," said Hemsworth. "He's got a ton of charisma, and he's a bloke, and I think he has all the points to pull that [role] off."

So, two interesting ways of getting an early opinion on the new Captain America - some words of wisdom from Thor and the mighty aid of Photoshop to boot. Over a week since the casting, are you starting to feel any better about Evans in the star-spangled suit?
