Fans writhing in agony in anticipation for "Torchwood's" fourth season "The New World" storyline have to wait until the summer of 2011 to get televised doses of Captain Jack and Gwen, but comic book fans can at least whet their appetite for new episodes with a new video trailer for Titan Publishing's official comic book in stores this Wednesday.

The trailer focuses on the first tale from Titan's comic book double feature, "Captain Jack and the Selkie," which is written by "Torchwood" star John Barrowman and his sister Carole E. Barrowman, with art by Tommy Lee Edwards. "Broken," the second story from the issue isn't directly previewed in the trailer, is written by TW's television script editor Gary Russell with art by Adrian Salmon.
Here's how Titan describes "Selkie":

'Captain Jack and the Selkie' is one of two original 'Torchwood' stories in issue #1 and sees Jack facing a deadly threat on a remote Scottish island, where people are disappearing one by one. To his horror, Jack starts to suspect he may know who, or rather what, is responsible.

'Broken', on the other hand, will pit Captain Jack, Gwen and Ian against an unspecified villain from the TV series who returns to menace the team while they're trapped in a cosmic hotel.
