One of the biggest disappointments I face on a regular basis is that while I have a deep and abiding love of both LEGO and super-heroes, there just aren't a lot of ways to bring those two things together. Sure, there are official sets featuring mini-figures of both Batman and J. Jonah Jameson, but it's just not enough.

Fortunately, LEGO builder Xuerin has stepped up to help out by creating an amazing set of custom super-hero LEGO mini-figures. And while that might've been done before Xuerin takes it to the next level by not just doing the big-name heroes, but by going for the deep cuts with LEGO versions of Watchmen, V For Vendetta, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and more. And if that wasn't enough, he even made a minifig version of Alan Moore himself:

It doesn't stop there, either! Check out my favorites from Xuerin's creations, including characters from the Batman family, alternate costumes for Spider-Man, and yes: Larfleeze.

Rorschach, Nite-Owl, Silk Spectre, Ozymandias, Dr. Manhattan and the Comedian from Watchmen:
Alan Quatermain, Mina Murray, Hawley Griffin and Captain Nemo from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen:
V, from V For Vendetta

Miracleman
Smax and Toybox from Top Ten (and the fact that Xuerin replaced the hand symbol on Smax's chest with a lego hand is just about perfect):
The Rocketeer
Kick Ass and Hit-Girl from Kick Ass
Jenny Sparks, The Engineer, Apollo and the Midnighter from The Authority:
Batwoman:
Barbara Gordon as Oracle:
Stephanie Brown as Robin:
The Mad Hatter:
Larfleeze from Green Lantern:
Bizarro:
Black Alice:

The Bulleteer from Seven Soldiers:

Iron Man:

Spider-Man as The Amazing Bag-Man:

Zombie Spider-Man:

The Mad Thinker's Awesome Android (alias Awesome Andy)

And finally, probably my favorite of the entire bunch for how ridiculously simple and yet totally hilarious it is:The Incredible Hulk's deadliest enemy, The Bi-Beast:
