In a keen demonstration of knowing its audience, DC Comics confirmed today the final details of its previously announced DC Universe Online Legends, a new biweekly series set in the continuity of the increasingly anticipated massively multiplayer online role-playing game from Sony Online Entertainment. While the series will hopefully appeal to gamers who may not be familiar with DC's line, DCUO Legends will be staffed up by some creators who've long been favorites of existing DC fans. Co-writing the series will be Tony Bedard (R.E.B.E.L.S., Green Lantern Corps) and Marv Wolfman, the latter of whom is one of the story architects of the video game itself. Artwork will by handled by Howard Porter and Adriana Melo, with covers for issues #1-2 by Ed Benes and Ryan Sook. The series launches in February, 2011.
