IDW's own-brand Judge Dredd has proved just how versatile the character is when taken away from his home of 2000 AD and transplanted to an American publisher. The current volume by Ulises Fariñas, Erick Freitas, Dan McDaid and Ryan Hill has taken Dredd to some exciting new places, and the current ten-part "Mega-City Zero" has been one of the best Dredd stories in recent memory.

As the arc hurtles towards it's conclusion, IDW has provided us with an exclusive look at the final issue of the storyline, as Dredd faces off against the denizens of Ang Avi and meets up with the mysterious Vegans. (As in, from Vega, not the kind that don't eat meat, although maybe?)

Dredd has spent the past nine issues trapped in the strange and unsettlingly familiar Mega City Zero, and over that time he's developed a pretty rocking beard that he should consider keeping if and when he gets home.

Also, I feel honor-bound to give you this warning before you read the preview: It includes what I'd describe as a light puppy stabbing, so keep that in mind before you read.
