Jem and the Holograms #21, by Kelly Thompson and Meredith McClaren, finds the Holograms' drummer Shana living out her dream of working in fashion in Milan, but the reality is not turning out to be as dreamy as she'd hoped. It turns out her fashion internship seems to consist mostly of fetch food for unfriendly designers at all hours of the night, and of course she's also homesick for the three bandmates who are also her sisters.

Meanwhile the Holograms are making do with a drummer named Fox, and so far things seem to be going okay, but since Fox is neither Shana nor Raya (currently with the Stingers), we can be pretty sure it's not going to work out in the long term. Sadly the preview offers us nothing from the Stingers or the Misfits, although IDW tells us that the former are living it up (and presumably either drinking or driving, based on the cover) while the latter are struggling to get back on their feet after being booted off their record label.

Jem and the Holograms #21 features variant covers by Gisele Lagace and Jen Bartel, and comes out November 23.

Here's the official word from IDW:

THE STINGERS part 3! JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS search for Shana’s replacement as Shana gets everything she hoped for… but is it what she really wants? Meanwhile, somebody knows exactly what Shana wants—and that’s gonna cause problems for everyone.
