At this point, the odds are pretty good that you're already familiar with ONE. One-Punch Man, his co-creation with Yusuke Murata, has been one of the best superhero comics on the stands ever since it made its debut back in 2014. It's got a simple premise that somehow never gets boring, taking every single superhero fight to its logical conclusion by focusing on a hero who can end any fight with a single hit, and both the original manga and the anime based on it have become breakout hits over the past year.

Now, however, we're getting to go a little deeper into ONE's library, with an anime based on his other comic, Mob Psycho 100. And the premise this time is that there's a psychic teenager, and if he ever gets too emotional, he's literally going to explode. Check out a trailer for it --- handily subtitled in English --- below!

Originally produced as a webcomic --- and sadly unavailable in English, it seems --- Mob Psycho 100 has been coming out since 2012, and is going on 11 collected volume s in Japan. It follows Kageyama Shigeo, a teenager so nondescript that he's been given the nickname "Mob" --- the Japanese equivalent of "John Doe." There's a reason for that, though, and it has to do with the psychic powers that threaten to explode out of him if his "emotional capacity" ever hits 100%, and since most teenagers are constantly operating at 100% emotional capacity at all times anyway, it seems like a pretty dangerous situation to be in.

The Mob Psycho 100 anime is produced by BONES, the studio likely best known in America for Fullmetal Alchemist.
