A handful of new screenshots for Batman: Arkham Knight have surfaced, giving us a look at some familiar faces, a better view of the Batmobile and a little bit of bone-crunching action as well.

The screenshots were posted to AllGamesBeta and feature a high-definition peek at what Rocksteady's Arkham Knight will look like. Judging by these early screens, it's shaping up to be a very gorgeous game. The details in the character models are impeccable, allowing us to see deep into the worry lines on Commissioner Gordon's face or the spotted stains on the Penguin's shirt.

One screenshots stars the Batmobile in all of its glory, burning up the streets of Gotham and knocking cars aside as if they were bowling pins. That is one angry vehicle, eating up the pavement.

Check out all of the screenshots below for a look at the Riddler, Oracle, skyline view of Gotham City and more of the Dark Knight himself. Batman: Arkham Knight will be available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 14, 2014.
