Among the hierarchy of Marvel Netflix news from New York Comic-Con, The Punisher confirming details that set photographers have known for days ranks lower, but nonetheless appreciated. Not only is production confirmed begun, but Daredevil star Deborah Ann Woll has a larger role than we thought.

Immediately following the Iron Fist presentation at New York Comic-Con, Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb welcomed Frank Castle himself, Jon Bernthal to the stage, beard and all. The duo confirmed Punisher production had begun this past Monday, before Bernthal brought out the spinoff’s newest official addition, Daredevil’s Karen Page.

Now confirmed for a 2017 premiere (before or after The Defenders remains to be seen), Marvel’s Netflix Punisher features among the cast Ben Barnes as Frank’s Special Forces friend Billy Russo, along with Amber Rose Revah as Homeland Security agent Dinah Madani. Additionally, Girls star Ebon Moss-Bachrach will take the role of “Micro,” described as “a former NSA analyst whose secrets may be of great value to Frank Castle and everyone around them.”

We’ll likely hear more in the next few weeks, but what do we make of Karen Page hanging around The Punisher in 2017?
