Superhero movies are a dominant force in modern blockbuster cinema, but with so many heroes appearing on our screens it can be tough to keep up with the release calendar.

To help make it a little easier for superhero fans to know which weekends to keep free over the next few years, designer Dylan Todd has created this infographic featuring all the upcoming releases from Marvel Studios, Fox, Sony, Warner Bros and more, starring characters from the DC Universe, the Marvel Universe, the X-Men books, Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Valiant Universe, and more.

Check in regularly to see what's new, what's changed, and what's dropped from the schedule, and to get an idea just how much popcorn money you may need to set aside.

Recent updates: The Batman has snatched Justice League 2's slot on the schedule, a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming has popped up in 2019, and Aquaman and Incredibles 2 have new dates.

Next year's Wolverine movie is now called Logan, the Inhumans movie has been dropped from Marvel's schedule, but there are three untitled Marvel Studios movies on the slate for 2020. Fox finally dropped Gambit from its October 2016 release date. It may yet even settle into one of the 'Untitled Marvel Movie' slots unveiled by Fox for October 2017 and January 2018, but odds are good that one of those will be a Deadpool sequel. That movie is expected to introduce Cable and Domino, and may in turn may set up the X-Force movie.
