Toy Fair 2014: Capo Toys Unveils New ‘Street Fighter’ Action Figures
A challenger appears! Following lines from Hasbro, SOTA, NECA, Jazwares and others, newcomer Capo Toys arrived at Toy Fair 2014 to show off a medley of painted and unpainted prototypes of its upcoming 6-9" tall Street Fighter action figures sculpted by Rocco Tartamella. Based on the video game designs from Street Fighter IV, Capo Toys' first wave will include Sagat, Ryu, Blanka, Guile and Chun-Li -- each packing around 20 points of articulation.
Ryu and Sagat come adorned in cloth versions of their respective gi and boxing trunks (potentially as more deluxe figures packed in window boxes), with the rest of the team rocking sculpted-on attire and likely being sold in blister packs.
The figures are expected to debut via variants at San Diego Comic-Con 2014, with the standard line rolling out in the fall for an estimated $20-25 price point. Provided the figures perform, Capo plans to release further waves covering as many of the game's characters as fan demand calls for.
