Toy Fair 2014: Funko’s New ‘Magic: The Gathering’ Planeswalker Action Figures

Magic: The Gathering Planeswalkers Jace Beleren, Garruk Wildspeaker, Chandra Nalaar, Liliana Vess, Ajani Goldmane and Nissa Revane are jumping from paper cards to plastic toys later this year with a new Legacy Collection action figure line from Funko. Sculpted by Gentle Giant, the roughly 6" tall figures will feature more than 20 points of articulation and come packed with character-appropriate weapons and accessories. The painted prototypes of the figurers were situated next to Funko's recently-released Game of Thrones toys, and seemed compatible in terms of scale and accessories. That means if you'd like to see Tyrion Lannister fight a bunch of crazy-powerful wizards -- or perhaps just trade giant axes with them -- it should be a cinch.

All six of the upcoming Magic figures are set to arrive in August, alongside a corresponding line of Pop! Vinyl figures of the same characters. You can see them all up close below.
