Will Life-Sized Gundam Robot Kill Us All?

Maybe I'm the only one who feels slightly terrified by this life-sized "Gundam" mecha, which stands 60 feet tall and was recently constructed in Japan for the popular anime's 30th anniversary.

As I have watched "Gundam," these pictures make me feel as though it could come to life at any moment and lay waste to a major metropolitan area. Why must you tempt fate, Japan?
