There’s a fairly sizable (just the first of many size-related puns in this article) cameo in Ant-Man from someone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Marvel had been doing a good job keeping that secret. Until now. The latest Ant-Man TV spot reveals the Avengers cameo, so if you’re dying to know who shows up to meet with Ant-Man, you don't have to wait until the film opens.

You could, of course, just not watch this footage and avoid reading any more about this until the movie opens, but where would the fun in that be? We can say that this cameo does represent some of the most fun in the movie, some of it coming from the surprise of who shows up and why.

We should note that this cameo is not part of the much-rumored post-credits scenes, which are pretty great in and of themselves, and may or may not also feature some cameos from some very familiar faces. This particular cameo revealed in the new TV spot is right in the middle of the film, and actually sets up one of the later post-credits scenes. It’s also one of the scenes written for the film by Adam McKay and Paul Rudd after Edgar Wright had left the film.

Though Marvel won’t have an official presence at Hall H during Comic-Con, with Ant-Man opening just one week after the big celebration, you can expect there to be some surprises. Considering all the surprises ruined in this post already, we probably should say no more.

The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man.” Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

We can’t officially tell you what we thought of the film just yet, but keep your eyes out for our Ant-Man review this coming Wednesday night.

Ant-Man opens in theaters on July 17.
