Parting Shot: V for Vendetta Bandanas Offer Anonymity, Legal Tips to Occupy Protestors


As protestors in Oakland, including cartoonist Susie Cagle, recently faced tear gas, bean bag bullets, and arrest for participating in the Occupy movement, Laughing Squid points out bandanas with V for Vendetta/Guy Fawkes designs by Matthew Borgatti that can be worn as a full or half face mask, and are “printed with safe sane protesting advice about dealing with police, sharing your location, who to call in the event of legal troubles,” said Borgatti. “I want people to be able to protest with OWS without the risk of being fired for showing solidarity.”
