Sonic’s Bling Looks Cute in Becky and Frank’s Video Game Artwork

Tiny Kitten Teeth followers already know what the artistic super-duo named Becky and Frank can do together. Their classic-looking, Richard Scarry-esque illustrations make for fine webcomics, and they also work quite nicely for tributes to video game series like Street Fighter, Sonic the Hedgehog and the as-of-this-week 25-year-old Legend of Zelda. The Final Fantasy and Team Fortress characters in Beck and Frank’s Tumblr feed would make fine additions to anyone’s walls, as would their adorable bathing pug. Metal Gear series star Solid Snake, meanwhile, didn’t even look this cute when he showed up in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

The birthday boy Link should look just like this if Nintendo ever makes a series of Hyrule-based ABC books for pre-schoolers. Sonic, on the other hand, would probably find it awfully hard to run very fast weighted down with all of those gold rings-even if he does look glamorous. Feel the sparkly magic and pug love down below.
