Before Batman Begins Again, Watch ‘Arkham Asylum’

With all the news about The Dark Knight hitting a fever pitch (filming continues in Chicago), the summer of 2008 can't come soon enough for me.

Until the inevitable teaser trailers come -- will a snippet or two be revealed at next month's Comic-Con International? -- here's something to tide you over until then: A trailer based on the chilling and wonderful graphic novel, Arkham Asylum.

This awesome short film, accurately recreating the look and feel of the 1989 graphic novel by Grant Morrison and Dave McKean, is merely one of four short fan film adaptations based on comics, lensed by Miguel Mesas.

If you like your Batman twisted and thought Jack Nicholson as the Joker in the 1989 Tim Burton film was way overrated, you won't be disappointed here.
