Parting Shot: The Macabre ‘Calvin & Hobbes’ Snowmen Murders Come Alive [Video]

One of the wintertime highlights of the much-beloved and long-defunct newspaper strip Calvin and Hobbes was always Calvin’s snowman house of horrors, an annual phantasmagoria of hilariously macabre snowman murder involving cannons, beheadings, hangings, car accidents and unorthodox surgery that left Calvin’s parents pondering the benefits of child therapy. In honor of the season of snowman slaughter, check out this video of a 3D model recreation that pays fitting tribute to the fantastic darkness of young Calvin’s heart. [via Topless Robot]
