Luke Cage can’t have all the fun. It seems Daredevil Season 2 isn’t done casting just yet (seriously, where’s our Bullseye?), as the Man Without Fear will have a new legal confidante when Season 2 premieres next year. The Butler star Stephen Rider has joined the cast as a series regular and notable Marvel figure, helping keep Daredevil in business come Season 2.

Per Deadline, Rider will play the role of New York City District Attorney Blake Tower, who supplies ol’ Hornhead (and potentially Matt Murdock as well) with information to help track down and capture criminals. In the comics, the character has also dealt with both Misty Knight and She-Hulk, as well as that time Marvel teamed Daredevil with real-life telekinetic fraud Uri Geller.

Elsewhere of Daredevil Season 2, we know for sure that Elodie Yung has been cast in the role of Elektra, following Walking Dead alum Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, as well that Rosario Dawson has been confirmed to reprise her role as Claire Temple. Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez will take over showrunning duties from Spartacus vet Steven S. DeKnight, while recent Jason Statham / Bullseye reports listed Marvel’s Mister Fear and Spider-Man villain Mysterio as potential villains, though no confirmations have emerged.

It’s of interest that Rider would join as a series regular well into Season 2's production, but what else can we expect to see when Netflix’s Daredevil returns for Season 2 in 2016?
