Doctor Strange Practices Sorcery Supremely In New ‘Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3′ Footage

If there’s one Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 fighter whose availability is overdue, it’s Doctor Strange. Not only did he lose out initial MvC3 billing to his arch-enemy Dormammu, the Sorcerer Supreme has had to sit back while his foe Shuma-Gorath starred in Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and MvC3. While its downright criminal that its taken this long to get a playable Doctor Strange, fans will probably forgive Capcom once they lay eyes on the new screenshots and gameplay footage that feature the hero casting spells and taking names.Doctor Strange seems to take full advantage of his signature sorcerer arsenal in UMvC3, with attacks that harness the power of the Eye of Agamotto, his Cloak of Levitation and the Book of the Vishanti. And yes, he totally shouts “By the hoary hosts of Hoggoth!” while pummeling his opponents. What more could a Strange fan ask for?

Capcom also revealed new footage of Resident Evil monster Nemesis at play in UMvC3 during Gamescon. His moves are pretty intense, which makes watching guys like Wolverine get trashed by him seem plausible in any continuity.
