‘High Moon’ers David Gallaher And Steve Ellis To Guard Winter This December

It looks like Webcomic High Moon’s Zuda-fied team of David Gallaher and Steve Ellis are taking a trip to Marvel Comics this December to put their creative stamp on Russia’s premier super team The Winter Guard.

As Blog@ reports, the one-shot issue will star Red Guardian, Crimson Dynamo, Ursa Major and Darkstar, along with a reprinted tale from “Incredible Hulk” #393 (hence the Hulky background on the cover).

It was nice seeing the current Crimson Dynamo in Matt Fraction’s “Invincible Iron Man” recently, and any chance to see watch Ursa Major transform from a dude into a brown bear is a welcome treat in my book – even if he’s not a space bear fighting Rom.

Gallaher and Ellis have proven their mettle over at Zuda, so it should be interesting to catch their take on the team, especially given its four-member dynamic.

See? Webcomics are a totally legit career path. Suck it “Hi and Lois!
