‘Iron Fist’ Gets His Famous Tattoo in New Netflix Comic Cover
We’ll be seeing a great deal of Marvel’s Netflix Iron Fist over the weekend at New York Comic-Con, but even the first photos lacked for a bit of that classic look. No more, as a new Netflix comic cover from New York Comic-Con reveals Finn Jones in (almost) all his Iron Fist glory, tattoo, chi and all.
Fans in attendance of New York Comic-Con managed to pick up a special edition of Netflix’s Iron Fist prequel comic, featuring Finn Jones’ likeness in a much more familiar Danny Rand getup. There’s the the scar of Shou-Lao tattoo, and perhaps a hint of what Iron Fist’s abilities might look like in live-action.
Now set for a March 2017 premiere, so reads the Iron Fist synopsis:
Returning to New York City after being missing for years, Daniel Rand fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
Elsewhere, following the addition of Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum and David Wenham as Harold Meachum, past breakdowns also suggested Iron Fist would cast the roles of Shang Chi and “Steel Serpent.” Scott Buck will showrun Iron Fist, while reports suggested Jessica Jones writer Scott Reynolds will also have a hand on the creative side.
Iron Fist will still likely reveal more at New York Comic-Con this weekend, so stay tuned for the latest as it arrives.
