‘Joker & Lex’: The DC Comics ‘Calvin & Hobbes’ Tribute Art

We’re big fans of Bill Watterson’s comic strip “Calvin & Hobbes” at ComicsAlliance — who isn’t? — so we were incredibly thrilled when we read through “Superman/Batman” #75 this week and found a bonus comic by Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo titled “Joker & Lex,” a tribute to the boy and tiger duo featuring Lex Luthor in the place of the overconfident Calvin, who was also prone to grandiose dreams, and The Joker, who takes the offbeat nature of Hobbes… to the extreme. Here’s an excerpt of the comic — check out the issue for the full version!
