The Ghostbusters did a fine job of advertising their services themselves on TV, but illustrator Jorsh Pena really captured the joy that Ecto-1 brought to New York City in 1984 with a tribute poster he made. Pena's artwork ranges from celebratory images such as this and a cartoony pinup for Mario's 25th anniversary at Nintendo to some alternative movie one-sheets for Gremlins and The Goonies.

Pena's style looks a little vintage, but his concepts are festive and he tends to prefer solid colors and simple shapes in the work he's shared via his personal blog over at MrJorshPena.Blogspot.com. He's also got a Society6 page with prints, a Flickr accountfilled with exotic scenes and a few posters left for sale on Gallery 1988's website.

His prints are loaded with fun, tall buildings and killer robots, and let's face it, who doesn't enjoy looking at such things? Behold them for yourself below.
