Mega Man and Mario Look Mega-Awesome as Drawn by Jose Garibaldi
Jose Garibaldi draws like a madman, which is a major strength when you contribute 'toons to MAD magazine like he does. His sketch of Superman kicking Batman in the junk that showed up here a few months ago was just a taste of what he's capable of; in fact, he's also envisioned Superman punching out Darth Vader and achieved similar levels of animated, inked-up elasticized excellence.
It's probably too much to wish for, but if Nintendo or Capcom ever make new Super Mario or Mega Man cartoons, they could make the world a very happy place by employing the concepts he's posted to his personal blog at JoseGaribaldi.com and his portfolio on LittleBrownHeart.com.
Whether you're a Looney Tunes fan or a John K lover, you should be able to appreciate Garibaldi's sense of humor. And if you're in need of a sketchbook page featuring Superman whooping up on anyone, keep an eye out for him the next time you find yourself walking through an artists alley.
