Now that Peter Parker is unemployed, it's lucky that he spent some time as a school teacher a little while ago... because it certainly looks like Marvel is interested in inserting the wall crawler back into the education system.

In April, Marvel and Git Corporation are collaborating with one another for "Language Learning with Spider-Man," a software program that teaches users how to speak other languages. All you have to do is select a base language from English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, and then Spidey takes care of the rest. Well, not all by himself, but he certainly leads the class as you match your base language with a language of choice to learn.

Personally, I'm not sure that Spider-Man is the first person I'd ask to teach me a new language - if I had access to my favorite Marvel characters, I'd be much more inclined to ask Tony Stark, Reed Richards or Hank Pym to jack me into a device that uploads all sorts of information directly into my brain - but Spider-Man isn't the worst choice in the world, especially considering the $19.99 price for the software program. For now, if you're looking for a superhero to impart some new language know-how upon you, he's your best bet.[via Amazon]
