Just in time for the arrival of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel is teaming up with Adidas for a line of new, superhero-inspired sneakers. Most prominently, the collaboration has yielded a pair of Quicksilver kicks to celebrate the introduction of the new character, although the color of Quicksilver’s sneakers makes them look like they might belong to Bruce Banner.

Via Complex, two of the biggest brands in the world — Marvel and Adidas — have joined forces for the upcoming shoe line for kids and adults. The Quicksilver adizero Prime Boost sneakers boast a sporty silver and grey design, with no guarantee that you’ll be able to move as fast as Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s on-screen persona.

For the kids, there’s a line of sneakers including styles inspired by Captain America and Iron Man, but annoyingly, all these shoes seem to be targeted at dudes. There’s no Black Widow or Scarlet Witch sneaker, and the only photo of kids modeling stuff from the new Adidas line features little boys. Sigh. Someday, girls. Someday.

Additionally, the Adidas press release makes it very clear that their new line is aimed at adults and boys:

The Adidas collection, which releases its kids line at Adidas retail and online shop on 17th March and second line on 1st May to coincide with the film’s release, will feature exciting new designs reflecting the unique personalities of three of the film’s superheroes: Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America. Both lines, which cover infants, little kids and youth boys alike, offer full head-to-toe outfits including tees, shorts and accompanying shoes and accessories with matching colours to ensure a wardrobe with fresh new looks for every true Avengers fan!

May’s kids collection will be complemented by adult running shoes in four matching designs. The adult line includes a silver-green Adidas adizero Prime BOOST™ that will be featured in the film with an exciting new Avengers character. For the biggest fans and a united look this colour-way will be a key feature within the kids’ collections!

The sneakers will hit retailers and online on May 1 to coincide with the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
