Bishoujo Statues Make Marvel Superheroines Super-Kawaii

The ladies of Marvel have never been more kawaii than the Kotobukiya imported Marvel Bishoujo statues! Except maybe for "X-Men: The Manga." And "X-Men: Misfits." And OK, a bunch of times, shut up. But it's the first time I've seen this kind of manga aesthetic Marvel sculptures, and I love it.

The Bishoujo statues are primarily of X-ladies like Rogue, Psylocke, Phoenix, Dark Phoenix, and Emma Frost, with Black Widow and Scarlet Witch for good measure. The release dates and prices are listed, and while there's no photos of the Emma sculpture yet, Marvel.com has released images of all the rest -- along with the concept art by Shunya Yamashita. I thought it was pretty cool to see how the original illustrations transformed into 3D sculptures, so we've added them side-by-side for comparison. Click through for more views of the statues.
