Marvel screened its latest "One-Shot" short movie, Item 47, at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, but only to those fans who'd completed a con-specific scavenger hunt across the city to earn admission. For the rest of us, there's always a new clip from the movie to tease us for the story described as "Bonnie and Clyde in the Marvel Universe."The twelve minute DVD/Blu-ray extra for the September release of Marvel's The Avengers was unveiled at this weekend's massive convention, introducing audiences not only to Benny and Claire - two small-time crooks played by Jesse Bradford and Lizzy Caplan, who find themselves in possession of a piece of alien weaponry left behind after the Avengers' showdown with the Chitauri - but also two brand new SHIELD agents (played by Maximiliano Hernandez and Lost's Titus Welliver) tasked to bring them in. Overall response from those who saw the movie was positive, with hints that there may be more to this short than just a one-off story...

Con-goers who'd used Marvel's Avengers Second Screen app found themselves sent across San Diego in search of clues and, ultimately, wristbands that gave them access to the exclusive screening of the movie; for those who think that kind of thing sounds like a good time and missed out, Entertainment Weekly has video of what you missed (Spoiler: You may need to find holes in walls interesting to truly enjoy this). Everyone else, enjoy the first officially released clip from the movie, introducing our modern day well-meaning lawbreakers...

Marvel's The Avengers, complete with Item 47, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on September 25.
