‘Marvel Vs. Capcom 3′ Trailer Pits Heroes vs Villains on SHIELD Helicarrier

If you thought Captain America surfing a fighter jet during “Civil War” was rad, Capcom’s latest “Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds” cinematic trailer may just grant you an even more impressive scene. Sure, the sentinel of liberty has faced down everyone from the Red Skull to Thanos, but it’s pretty killer to see him bash rotating helicopter blades with his shield to help out “Street Fighter” star Chun-Li.In addition to showing off Cap’s indestructible shield, the trailer also introduces “Mega Man 64′s” Tron Bonne (who also star’s in her own solo title) to the MvC3 mix. It’s a welcome addition to the game’s expanding roster, even if I’d prefer the Blue Bomber’s classic incarnation, myself.

It’s also nice to see the various heroes and villains of each respective universe getting along for a change. Rather than pummel each other, Iron Man and Viewtiful Joe seem to genuinely bro down after a tag team takedown of the Super Skrull.
