As much as there was to discover in Marvel’s first Daredevil Season 2 trailer, the two-minute spot didn’t show just much of Jon Bernthal’s dressed-down Punisher or Elodie Yung’s Elektra we hadn’t already seen. Now, some apparently-leaked images may offer a taste of either character’s ultimate looks, along with Daredevil and the supporting cast.

Take this with a grain of salt for now, as the images emerged on Tumblr with no apparent context, though they at least resemble the Netflix interface images that leaked last year, and appear too professional for fan-art. In any case, the Elektra image also uses the red mask of sorts we first saw at New York Comic-Con, while the Punisher image appears to have a different coat, and possible skull logo on the chest.

On the other hand, Bernthal’s hair appears notably longer than in the trailer itself, though the image may have been taken sometime after filming.

So reads the official Daredevil Season 2 synopsis:

Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.

Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.

So far of Daredevil Season 2, we know for sure that Rosario Dawson has been confirmed to reprise her role as Claire Temple, along with Scott Glenn’s Stick. In addition to Elodie Yung’s Elektra and Jon Bernthal’s PunisherDrew Goddard remains aboard as a consultant, though the series has changed showrunners from Steven DeKnight to Marco Rodriguez and Doug Petrie.
