Parting Thought: Aurora Shooting Survivor Stars In Gun Control Ad [Video]

On Wednesday, President Barack Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney will engage in the first of three presidential debates. As is the case with many political discussions of this magnitude, it’s expected that the two candidates will largely stick to their talking points, with certain topics being skillfully dodged, if not completely ignored. But Stephen Barton, one of the survivors of the mass shooting that took place during a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, CO, has a question for viewers of the upcoming debates. In a new ad produced by the bipartisan group Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Barton sits alone in an empty movie theater and asks: What, if anything, do these candidates plan to do about gun control?
