If you've done any reading on quantum theory -- particularly the double-slit experiment and entanglement -- you've probably realized the same thing as Albert "Spooky" Einstein: That sh*t is craaazy. And if you've invested your psychological security in the notion that the universe is a fundamentally orderly place where math and science will always provide neat, comprehensible answers, it can be downright disturbing.

In the French comic Bouletcorp (translated into English), a young man finds himself daunted by these quantum revelations, and retreats into a pixelated world he believes will be simpler. Thanks to a guest appearance by Stephen Hawking, however, he gets more than he bargained for with the quantum theory of the pixel, which proves no less fascinating -- or existentially terrifying. Hit it! (Via Ryan North)
