Rogues' Gallery: Who Is Captain America's Ultimate Enemy?

A hero is defined by their villains, and the world of comic books is filled with some of the scariest and silliest bad guys around. Rogues’ Gallery aims to settle the score and determine who is the true arch-nemesis for some of our favorite heroes, and we need your help to do it!

Captain America is one of the most iconic superheroes in the world and has no shortage of enemies eager to tear him down The Sentinel of Liberty and all that he holds dear. With so many threats from outside and within, which one ranks as the ultimate Captain America villain?

Immediately, your mind goes to the Red Skull, who is so Nazi that the Nazis kicked him out after he started his own Nazi club. The Red Skull is an exceptional villain in many regards, but unlike the likes of Magneto, Loki or even Doctor Doom, the Red Skull is never going to make a face turn and try and join the side of angels.

Looking past the Skull, Cap has so many amazing and colorful villains. I'm personally partial to Batroc The Leaper, but there's Arnim Zola, Doctor Faustus, Taskmaster and so many more. Outside of X-Men, this is one of the longest lists of Rogues' Gallery villains we've put together, and there's a good reason for it.
