Now that all four of The CW’s DC series have begun their fall seasons, fans of Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow are naturally looking for setup of the big four-way crossover in the coming months. If Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow weren’t enough to get your DC on, in comes one more DC premiere. Fresh off CW Seed, the animated Vixen is back for Season 2, with the premiere installment available to stream right now.
We’ll only have three or so episodes to spend together when Arrow, Flash and Legends of Tomorrow crossover with Supergirl, and we’d be happy to spend all three with the disparate personalities paling around. It may take some time to get there, however, as producers say not everyone from the Arrow-verse will be so excited to meet the Girl of Steel.
Supergirl and The Flash got to have their crossover cake and eat it with Barry speeding over from The CW universe to CBS, even before Season 2 moved to the former. Many thought perhaps Kara’s Supergirl universe might end up folded into the “Arrow-verse” to facilitate easier crossovers, but producers now confirm the Girl of Steel will keep her separate Earth.
The CW’s DC roster has two premieres left between Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, but you know fans are chomping at the bit to see all those crazy kids together. Wait no more, as a new Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 trailer reveals everything from our first crossover footage, to Jonah Hex’s return and more!
It’s time for another installment of Pointed Commentary, the feature where returning Arrow watcher Chris Haley and new recapper Emma Lawson dig into the details of Team Arrow cleaning up the filthy, crime-ridden streets of Star City.
This week’s season premiere, “Legacy,” brings us back to Star City and sets the course for where the fifth season is headed. Unless things take a number of dramatic turns. Anyone’s guess at this point really. James Bamford directed the episode, based on a story by Greg Berlanti with a script by Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle.
The Flash got off to a less-than-speedy start in Season 3, so what better occasion to look back at the DC drama’s ups and downs? Just in time for the next run, The Flash gets the Honest Trailer treatment, and you’ll never not notice Grant Gustin’s bobbling head again.
CW Seed’s Vixen made a curious gaffe last month, blithely confirming a Season 2 premiere over Twitter, only to walk back the announcement hours later. We may now know why, as Warner Bros. now confirms a separate (albeit close) date for the Season 2 premiere in October, along with new details.
Yesterday it was announced the evil aliens The Dominators would provide the threat so large it would take Green Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and the Legends of Tomorrow to team-up to take them down in one epic week-long crossover. But who are The Dominators? If you don’t know, we’ve assembled a Crash Course to get you up to speed.
Superhero comic books and shared universes are full of fantastical technology that enable people to fly in suits of armor or even walk down the street on hydraulic stilts. However, the superhero universes still struggle to reconcile the advanced technology of their worlds with the day to day reality of people living with disabilities.
