Diamond Select Toys Announces ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Minimates

X-Men Days of Future Past Minimates main

Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum had a LOT of characters to choose from when putting together their X-Men: Days of Future Past Minimates line, but it seems the toymakers were able to narrow down their wave to just eight Merry Mutants from two time periods. Due out this summer are two packs pairing Future Professor X with Past Magneto, Future Magneto with Past Mystique, Future Wolverine with Future Storm, and Past Logan with Past Charles Xavier.

Toy Fair 2014: New ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2,’ ‘Godzilla,’ ‘Sin City’ And ‘The Walking Dead’ Minimates

Toy Fair 2014 Minimates

Diamond Select Toys had much to show at Toy Fair 2014, and while much of it couldn't be photographed (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Minimates! Guardians of the Galaxy Minimates!), there was still plenty to take in. Coming soon from DST and Art Asylum are all new The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Captain America: The Winter SoldierGodzilla, Sin City and The Walking Dead Minimates. There was also a TMNT bottle opener and pizza cutter shaped like Michelangelo, because a party isn't a party without a certified Party Dude. You can check out a selection of what DST had on display after the jump.

Battle Beasts Series 2 Main
Diamond Select Toys/Art Asylum

Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum's first series of Battle Beasts based on the IDW comic book by Bobby Curnow and Valerio Schiti introduced fans to a fresh take on the revived 1980s anthropomorphic animal adventure, but there's a whole lot more where that came from. This summer eight new dimension-displaced beasts will join the fray, including two warriors fans didn't see in the comic -- and we've got an early first-look.

‘The Walking Dead’ Minimates Series 5 Coming In June

The Walking Dead Minimates Series 05 main
Diamond Select Toys

Humans are back, baby!... at least in Series 5 of The Walking Dead Minimates line from Art Asylum and Diamond Select Toys. No, the tide isn't really turning in the war between humans and zombines in the TWD narrative in comics or on AMC's TV adaptation, but the latest Minimate two-packs at least focus primarily on the living. Seven survivors and just one zombie are coming in June -- and it's just a "Geek Zombie." Glenn, Maggie, Tyreese, Michonne, Morgan and Martinez should have no trouble surviving his attacks. What's he going to do? Talk to them about continuity errors to death (like we would)?
