Between Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers movie, Steve Rogers has had his share of costume changes as the Sentinel of Liberty and Hot Toys has seen to it to release every permutation as a 1/6 scale collectible figure. Captain America: The Winter Soldier certainly won't be an exception as the toymaker's shown with an initial teaser image containing no fewer than four Caps, and now fans can get a look at at least one of the prominent suits that'll be seen in the new sequel.
If Marvel Studios isn't careful, it's going to end up posting the entirety of Captain America: The Winter Soldier on YouTube well in advance of the movie's release next month.
But that's not for us to worry about. All we need to do is watch the minute-long clip released today that reveals how Cap and The Winter Soldier first crossed paths (as far as they know, anyway). It involves a lot of Cap just running straight through closed doors, windows and walls. It's almost as intense as the combat-heavy four minutes of the movie released last week. Check it out after the jump!
I know when I go to the movies, I often think, "This is great, but it'd be a lot better if there was a four-minute sequence I'd already seen."
Well, when I go to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier next month, that's a worry I won't have weighing upon my mind, because I've seen the clip below, which features Cap, the Black Widow and some S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives systematically taking down Batroc (the Leaper)'s gang of toughs. Now you can, too!
If the Super Bowl trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier didn't adequately whet your whistle for the new movie, then maybe a new batch of photos from the film will pique your interest.
Marvel has a new gallery of images (set to autoplaying music, you should be warned) that showcase not only Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, but Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as The Falcon, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier himself. In fact, it's probably the best clear look we've gotten at the character. Check out the images (with no autoplaying music) after the jump!
It's been confirmed that a new trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier will air during the Super Bowl on Sunday. But for those of you who aren't quite that patient, or for anyone who won't watch the Super Bowl even for that (we hear you), Marvel has just released new set photos from the upcoming film, as well as character posters spotlighting Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. You can view them all, and maybe try to guess what exactly Johansson is standing on in that poster, below.
If Tumblr was a person, they'd be flipping their lid right now.
If you caught Thor: The Dark World in theaters a few months back, you know there's a scene in which Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, briefly transforms into Chris Evans' Captain America. It's a funny scene.
For filmmaking purposes we're not entirely privy to, other than maybe Hiddleston just wanted to wear a Captain America costume, the scene was originally shot with Loki's actor rather than Steve Rogers'. So get ready, Tumblr. You're about to see some magic.

Like seemingly every year these days, 2014 will see its fair share of super hero films, with the most anticipated possibly being Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Both films had their first trailers debut recently, and now we're seeing more photos arrive online, with this latest batch spotlighting the Winter Soldier, Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Redford as Agent Pierce, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jamie Foxx as Electro and more.
Anticipation for Captain America: The Winter Soldier is running pretty high, and it's really not surprising why. Captain America: The First Avenger ranks among the more critically successful of all the films set in the Marvel cinematic universe, and so its sequel is certainly one that many viewers would be looking forward to. Further stoking excitement is the fact that, as it reportedly will heavily feature Black Widow and Nick Fury, it serves as a sequel of sorts to last summer's Avengers movie. The film is still six months away, but Marvel has just revealed the first teaser trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which you can view below.
