Greg Rucka Gets the Keys to Frank’s Castle With ‘The Punisher #1′ in August

Greg Rucka is back (at Marvel), baby! During this afternoon's Cup O' Joe panel at C2E2, Marvel officially revealed Rucka and artist Marco Checchetto as the talents behind August's upcoming The Punisher #1 ongoing relaunch as part of its "Big Shots" promo initiative. Considering his arsenal, The Punisher may even be the biggest shot of all.Frank Castle's gone through a number of transformations over the years. Sure, most fans didn't really dig the angel of death thing, but Frankencastle ruled as far as we're concerned. Rucka's take doesn't seem like it'll include any physical/spiritual mutations, however, simply focusing on the brutal crime-slaying style of a man whose life was destroyed in a crossfire between wicked men.
