Dreamworks' CG animated "Megamind" starring Will Ferrel, Brad Pitt and Tina Fey may not hit theaters until November 5, but that hasn't stopped the studio from teaming with DC Comics' WildStorm imprint for a special Comic-Con collectible written by Joe Kelly ("I Kill Giants") with cover art by John Cassaday ("Planetary," "Astonishing X-Men").

Entitled "The Reign of Megamind," the limited edition comic will debut exclusively at Comic-Con, with copies available at the DC Comics booth (#1915). Fans who score a copy can even get them signed by Kelly and Cassaday during the show, with a signing schedule to be announced soon.

Here's how DreamWorks and WildStorm describe the story:

"The Reign of Megamind" chronicles the biggest battles in the long-standing rivalry between the diabolical genius, Megamind, and the heroic champion for justice, Metro Man. With the aid of his henchman, Minion, Megamind kidnaps star-reporter Roxanne Ritchi and uses her as bait to lure Metro Man into what may be their most epic – and possibly final – fight ever."
