A Second Wave Of ‘The Walking Dead’ Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures On The Way

As a vinyl toy producer, Funko could be forgiven for sticking to a standard sculpt across its line, but it’s gone the extra mile on its The Walking Dead figures. Based on the AMC TV series adapted from Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard’s Image/Skybound comic, the first wave featured Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, RV Walker and the Bicycle Zombie. Now, as revealed by The Funko POP! Vinyl Figures Fan Page, wave two is set to include Michonne, each of her pet zombies, a Tank Zombie, Glenn and a bloody Glenn variant exclusive to Man of Action Figures, Inc. There’s only a few repurposed pieces in the bunch, with most of the toys featuring character-specific sculpts and paint applications. Even in a world where the rotten undead could start looking fairly generic, fans will likely appreciate the effort Funko’s made to keep things distinct when line two arrives in April. You can scope out all of the upcoming TWD Pop Vinyl figures from Funko, after the cut.
