What is this? A billboard for ants? In this case, it actually is. To promote their upcoming superhero movie Ant-Man, Marvel has quietly been placing tiny, ant-sized billboards in various public places.

A few Redditors over the weekend noticed these Ant-Man billboards at bus stops and parks.

The Ant-Man billboards are reportedly insanely detailed and even have battery-powered LED lights to be seen at nighttime.

So far, they only seem to be located in Australia (there have been sightings in Brisbane, Melbourne and Queensland), but hopefully they'll expand this mini-marketing campaign to the rest of the world. If you're thinking about stealing one though, people who've spotted them have said that it's attached pretty firmly to whatever it's been placed on, likely with some kind of epoxy adhesive.

Marvel has some work ahead of them to get audiences interested in Ant-Man, who doesn't have much of a connection to the larger universe, but that recent trailer and this little stunt are a great first step.

The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man. Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Ant-Man opens in theaters on July 17.
