New ‘X-Men: Destiny’ Trailer Shows Off Three Flavors of Mutant Angst [Video]

Despite a few previews showcasing Aimi Yoshida, Grant Alexander and the enigmatic Adrian, fans haven’t caught a whole lot of footage of the three young playable characters from X-Men: Destiny using their various powers for good and/or evil. Thanks to Gametrailers, though, fans can now catch the angsty muties as they’re faced with choosing sides amid a brewing war with humanity in a new trailer. The new footage also does the preorder crowd a solid by setting the game’s September 27 release date on the PlayStation3, Xbox 360 and Wii and Nintendo DS in stone. In addition to the game’s new characters, fans can also catch glimpses of X-Men regulars Cyclops, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Magneto, Wolverine, Emma Frost and more in the new trailer. Sure, they’re not playable characters, but their outfits may inspire bonus costumes to arm one of the three kids with down the road.
