Christmas and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have not always gelled with the greatest of ease. In fact, combining the two has traditionally resulted in madness.

While the 1994 direct-to-video atrocity "We Wish You a Turtles Christmas" ruined enough childhoods to warrant an appearance on a recent holiday installment of Everything Is Terrible, there is another fun way to get your holiday TMNT fix without wanting to make like a pizza and put your head in an oven.

4Kids' 2003 TMNT episode "The Christmas Aliens" is pretty much everything a fan could want. It's got sledding, kitten adopting, Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo characters hanging out for Christmas dinner, the whole group beating up bad guys who've stolen orphan's Christmas gifts and finally, orphans getting presents from the charitable group of ninja and samurai.

WWYATC serves up a Rastafarian Leonardo, an opera-singing Michelangelo and a rap about gift-wrapping to a beat generated on an '82 Casio keyboard, all oozing form the mouths of Turtle missing feet and heads seemingly carved from green pumpkins. TCA is a fun animated adventure based on an original TMNT comic book. You know which one you'd rather spend 25 minutes on.

I could go on, but it's probably best if you decide for yourself by comparing the two specials after the jump (although, the best version of TCA is through the above link).
