It's official. Warner Bros. has detailed the plans for a Justice League movie directed by Zack Snyder.

According to an exclusive report from The Wall Street Journal, The Justice League will follow the events in Batman vs. Superman and will feature Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman said, "It will be a further expansion of this universe. 'Superman vs. Batman' will lead into 'Justice League.'"

As of this writing, there is currently no release date set, but a script is in development. It's also unknown which other DC superheroes will join the roster in the Justice League film, given that only Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are the only confirmed characters. It's likely that the recent casting of Ray Fisher as Cyborg for 'Batman vs. Superman' indicates that we'll see the character in the Justice League, but we won't be able to tell until more details are confirmed.

WSJ also reported that Shazam, Metal Men, 100 Bullets and Fables are also in development at Warner Bros. and its New Line Cinema label.

What about Wonder Woman? The predictable "no plans." WB's Sue Kroll, president of worldwide marketing, said, "With the right script, that could be viable. The world is ready for her.”
