If you've taken a spin through the toy aisle lately, you've probably already noticed just how much comics-related LEGO stuff is out there now. In addition to their usual lines of spacemen, pirates and knights, everyone's favorite Danish building blocks have sets based on Marvel, DC, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and even Spongebob Squarepants.

LEGO builder oLaF left that last one out, but in an amazing diorama showing the Joker rampaging through a city in a custom-built mech suit, he threw in just about everything else. Check it out below!

The great thing about oLaF's creation is how it's spread over so many levels, from Batman lurking on the rooftop and Spider-Man swinging by on his webs all the way down to the ooze spill on the street that's dripping down into a subterranean sewer. There are awesome details all over this thing, to the point where I didn't even notice Green Lantern hanging out over there until the third or fourth time I looked at it.

My favorite part, though, has to be the Joker's mech suit. Over on his Flickr stream, you can see how oLaF went through a few different designs before he settled on this one, including one with a giant poison-spraying flower and one with pupils in the eyes that was probably deemed too terrifying:

The crazy thing? This is only a small part of a larger collaborative display set to be unveiled on September 14. We'll be looking forward to seeing the whole thing!
